The Barn at Sprotts Farm, a New Dry-Hire Wedding Venue for 2024 Couples!
The incredibly renovated 18th Century Barn at Sprotts Farm is a new wedding venue for 2024 couples. It has the perfect space to welcome up to 100 guests for a sit down meal and up to 150 guests for the reception. The Barn has a dedicated ceremony room but you can opt for an outdoor ceremony, if you prefer. It’s currently only available for a handful of weekend weddings per year, so make sure to contact them early if you are interested in this lovely venue: www.sprottsfarm.com/the-barn.
The venue also has 3 luxury cottages on site for around 12-13 wedding guests, which means you will have the whole space dedicated to you and your wedding party for an entire 3-day weekend! What makes Sprotts Farm unique is that it is a completely dry hire venue. It is ideal for couples wanting a non-traditional wedding day and love the idea of creating their perfect experience, with their own preferred suppliers and wedding theme. This flexibility is very rare among wedding venues.
The Barn at Sprotts Farm is located in the Dedham Value area of natural beauty, just outside of Polstead. It is an incredibly quiet area which is easy to access from anywhere in Suffolk or Essex. It’s not (yet) a licenced venue, so you will need to have your legal ceremony elsewhere, but it’s a stunning location for anyone dreaming of a rustic barn wedding, toasting marshmallows by the fire pit the evening of/before your wedding, or getting ready in a lovely cottage, then The Barn is definitely for you.
