Tri Sport Essex - Brentwood Triathlon Photos by Josh White
I had the pleasure of travelling to Brentwood on Sunday 2nd July 2023 to photograph Tri Sport Essex’s “Try a Tri” event which welcomes anybody from any background to come and take part in something new, to get your body moving, and to see if you enjoy taking part in a triathlon.
Please use the button below to view all of the professional photographs from the event. You can download the full-resolution images free of charge, so please do not screenshot the low-res previews:
Setting Up
A whole world of bikes at the transition area, waiting to be ridden by their keen riders! Bikes from all walks of life, including: mountain bikes, racing bikes, and even a fold-up bike.
On-the-Track Photos
The first wave of athletes set off at 8am and most of them were still smiling on their last couple of hundred metres before the cycle finish, so it must have been a fun ride! Lovely to have a closed-road event for everyone’s safety as well.
Meet the Animals
I was surprised to be greeted by ducks, a chicken, two hedgehogs, a dragon (the bearded sort), a snake, and a host of other animals when turning up to photograph a sports event, but what a fun idea for the kids (and adults) to get involved with after the triathlon.
All-Inclusive Cycling Fun
Trailnet Essex provided a range of all-inclusive cycles for everyone to try out. This included adapted trikes, tandems, side-by-side trikes, hand-cranked trikes and more!
Big Thanks to The Organisers!
Finally, a big thanks to Nimo and the organisers for having me to photograph the event and for putting on such a well-organised show. Hopefully there will be more like this in the future!
